New installation completed in Turkey in May, 2024
UNIVER completed the installation of another two machines for major optic fibre cable and overhead conductor manufacturer in Turkey, this company already has over ten UNIVER machines in their lab, and this repeated order shows their trust and satifications to UNIVER machines and services.

Machine Model: PULL-A-100-3SF
Machine Name: Creep Testing Machine for OPGW and Overhead Conductors
This machine has 3 independent test station, each station offers 100kN capacity to be used for creep testing of OPGW or Overhead conductors, a single test will last 1000 hours (42 days). 3 stations allow 3 tests to be running simultaneously, it advoids the single test failture results in 42 days loss if machine only has single test station, and it gives high productivity to creep test which is quite time consuming.
This machine employs UNIVER patented technologies for preparing the terminals of overhead conductors and OPGW, it gives recycleable method which has significantly simplified the process of terminal preparation as well as stay green for environment.
It is designed to meet following test methods:
- IEEE 1138:Creep test for OPGW, stress-strain test for OPGW, Ultimate tensile strength test for OPGW, Twist test of OPGW (custom made)
- IEC 61395:Creep test for stranded conductors

Machine Name: Electromechanical Universal Testing Machine
This machine offers two extensometers and three pair of grips for multi-purposes testing of wide range of materials used in optic fibre cable / conductor industry.
The long travel extensometer is used to measure the elongation of Aramid yarn, and the video extensometer is used to measure the elongation of coated steel strips and other materials, such as platics
