Purpose of UNIVER PFT Series Tube Flattening Testing Machine
UNIVER PFT Series is mainly designed to meet standard API 5L, ISO 8492 or ASTM A370 for welded line pipes used in Petroleum and Natural Gas Industries, it can be used to conduct flattening test on the end of a tube or a test piece of specified length, cut from a tube in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the tube, the test pieces shall be no cracks or breaks in the welded area or other specified area according to the standards
