UNIVER PULL-A Tensile Test Bed for OPGW, ADSS, Overhead conductors, Induslators Industries, this machine with oil free electromechanical driving system which is specially designed for cables and conductors in extra long lengths.

It is designed to meet following test methods:

• IEC 60794-4: Stress-strain test for ADSS, Breaking strength test for ADSS, Creep test for ADSS
• IEEE 1138:Creep test for OPGW, stress-strain test for OPGW, Ultimate tensile strength test for OPGW, Twist test of OPGW (custom made)
• IEC 61395:Creep test for stranded conductors
• IEC 61089:Stress-strain test for stranded conductors
• ASTM B524: Tensile test for conductors
• IEC 61232: Tensile test, Elongation test, Stress at 1% extension
• IEC 61284: Mechanical failure testing for fittings

Univer Launched New Servo-Hydraulic Universal Testing Machine

Univer is pleased to launch new 1000kN Servo-hydraulic Universal Testing Machine, this machine with the following features and updates

• Crosshead adjustment with Worm-gear driving method which has replaced the conventional Chain-gear driving method, the new driving method provides better moving stability as well as better axial alignment, because the spindle is not rotating in space adjustment.
• Because two spindles are not rotating, so the clearance left for rotation of spindles becomes not neccessary any more, this means it has less clearance in pre-load stage during the test
• New design combines Univer new clamping technologies for tensile test of PC Strand, so one machine for PC strand and general steel samples such as rebar and steel plate has become available.
• Much higher stiffness and less reaction at sample breaking moment, the weight of 1000kN load frame is up to 4500kg which is almost twice of typical manufacturers in China with same load capacity
