UNIVER BTC-1000 Series is designed to evaluate the ability of optical fiber cables to withstand bending around rollers or bows under specified loads, simulating the mechanical stresses encountered during installation.

The system is capable of performing both Test Procedure 1 (180° bend) and Test Procedure 2 (reverse bend over dual rollers) in accordance with IEC 60794-1-21, Method E18A. These tests accurately reproduce typical bending conditions that cables may experience during handling and installation, ensuring reliable assessment of mechanical flexibility and optical performance.
